Our beloved Carl Lloyd Glasgow was born on February 14, 1941 in Georgetown, Guyana to parents Caleb Glasgow and Vashti Glasgow (Mitchell). He was educated in Guyana and graduated from Central High College with College of Preceptors and Senior Cambridge. After graduating, he worked for Sanbach Parker. From there he moved to the United States.
After arriving in the USA, he worked in the Wall Street area (New York) for various brokerage firms, namely New York Hanseatic, then to Dean Witter/Morgan Stanley as a compliance analyst. He worked there until he retired.
He is survived by his wife Betty of 55 years, and their two daughters, Sonya and Candice. He also left behind his three sisters Ena, Patricia (Patrick), and Desiree; one brother Ivelaw (Christine), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
He was an avid reader, he loved following politics, he was well-dressed, and a man of conviction. Carl completed his journey on February 3, 2026. He will be sadly missed.
