Carl Montrosse Obituary
MONTROSSE, Carl - Of Burton, age 67, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2026, at his residence.
Celebration of life service will be held at 2pm Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Pastor Alex Young officiating.
Visitation will be held at 1pm Saturday until the time of service at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors.
Carl was born in Mullens, West Virginia on May 8, 1958, the son of the late Joe and Edna Montrosse.
He married Vanessa James in 1980.
Carl enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was an excellent carpenter for many years.
Surviving are wife, Vanessa; brother Ronnie Montrosse; brother-in-law Willis (Betsy) James; sister-in-law Vivian Raby; mother-in-law Roberta James; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by sister-in-law Paula Montrosse, brother Larry, father-in-law Cotus James and sister-in-law Treeca Kard.
