Not sure what to say?

Carl, I have such fond memories of you...you will be missed, my friend. I have a feeling you are in Heaven dancing away to Diana Krall. Sherry Bailey

Carl, I thought in coming back to Chicago-land last week, you and I could reconnect. I only wish that when you accidentally called me just a couple of weeks before passing, that I had known your condition. I sorely miss that I could not be with you to face this last challenge. God be with you, my friend.

Not sure how I stumbled upon this terrible news. I am deeply saddened to hear of Carl's passing. He was a great guy and I was privileged to work with him. Was teaching him to be a salesman and we visited Union Carbide. They were having a disaster because they couldn't get payroll checks printed. We were visiting frm the Bank and Carl volunteered to look at the printer. Right there and then he pulls out a little screwdriver and fixed the printer thus saving the day!!! Folks at Carbide...

Dear Carl-
You were the most compassionate, generous and thoughtful friend I have known. Thank you for being such a model of grace and respect. I learned a great deal from your example and will dearly miss you. My best will be better because of you.

From all of us who attended High school at Riverside Brookfield with Carl, we are deeply saddened..I posted his memorial yesterday on Facebook in our Class of 67 group, and the thoughts have been pouring out from his former classmates...We will miss him....Joyce Brezina

Carl, you were a great kid and obviously a great adult. The world will miss you. Love, Ruth Niersbach

Carl wast he first person I worked for at Continental Bank. I loved working with him. He was a great person and a great manager. He will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with Carl's family and friends. He was my first boss at Continental Bank after training and I appreciated all his help and guidance.
