Carol L. Burrell

1954 - 2025

The Burrell families resided in Hardin, Texas. Carol L. Burrell
was born on May 19,1954 to parents Clyde Lee and Eunice
Burton Burrell.

Carol attended Hardin schools. After graduation, he worked
for The Coca Cola Company, then The Upjohn Company in
LaPorte, Texas. Upjohn was later purchased by Dow
Chemical Company and Carol worked there until his
retirement.

Carol met and married the love of his life, Sandra Medina,
from Liberty, Texas. They became the proud parents of Anicia
Renee. Carol and Sandra were married for 49 years.

A big fan of the outdoors, Carol enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He raised cows, pigs, goats and horses. His pet Doberman,
Duchess, followed him everywhere. Carol also enjoyed
cooking outdoors and hosting family and friends for
barbecues, fish fries, and crawfish boils. Of course, there was
always a good supply of beer and a lot of domino games.

Carol was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Clyde
Lee Burrell, Jr. and Clayton Dan Burrell. He is survived by his
wife Sandra, daughter Anicia Kuchesky and her partner John
Horstman, sister Janice Hamilton (Don), brother Wayne Rex
Burrell (Kim), sister-in-law Wanda Burrell, and a host of
cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
