CAROL JANICE DENBOW, age 61, passed away peacefully in Lakewood Ohio on October 30, 2025. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on November 25, 1963 to the late Margaret "Peggy" (nee Richardson) and Robert W. Denbow, Sr.; loving sister of Robert W. Denbow, Jr.(deceased) (Bernie), Ron Denbow (Romaine - deceased), Linda Beavers (Bill - deceased), David Denbow (Vicki), Diane Maisch-deceased (Dan), Margaret “Margie” Hogle (Jeff - deceased), Jim Denbow (Carol) and stepsister of Bob Tobin (Mary Ellen). Beloved aunt and dear cousin of many. Funeral Mass Friday, November 14, St. Luke Church (1212 Bunts Rd., Lakewood) at 11 A.M. Carol, a 1982 graduate of West High School, went on to earn her degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University in 1991. From a young age, she had a deep love for dance, studying tap, jazz, and ballet at the Judy Spring School of Dance. Her passion continued after high school as she performed with The Wharton School of Ballet and Vaud-Villities Productions in Columbus, OH.In 1997, Carol made Lakewood, OH her home. She worked as a consultant with DPAI until 2002. Then in 2003, became co-owner and executive director of Visiting Angels Home Care in Rocky River, OH, where she brought compassion and dedication to her work every day.
Carol’s heart was full of the simple joys of life. She was a devoted fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns, and she loved the sun, sand, and serenity of the beach. Above all, she treasured time spent with family and friends, creating memories that will be cherished by all who knew her.
