Carol Ann Mall

Carol Ann Mall, 63, of Henderson, NV, passed away on August 14, 2025 at her home. She was born September 14, 1961, in Allentown, PA, and was raised in Kreidersville, PA. Carol was the daughter of the late Diane A. (Edelman) Mall and the late John S. Mall, Jr., both of Northampton, PA. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Jeffrey M. Jarrell, in 2015.

A graduate of Northampton Area High School, Carol earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Penn State University, and a Master of Business Administration with Distinction from DeVry University. In 1999, Carol left her family, job, and home in Pennsylvania to pursue her dream of living in Las Vegas. She retired from the Clark County School District, where she was employed as an Accountant, for about 23 years. Carol loved the desert climate and bright lights of Vegas. She missed Pennsylvania’s autumn colors and snowfalls, but preferred to see them in pictures rather than in life. She had a golden touch with slot machines and won many jackpots at local casinos. Carol deeply loved her family, friends and her puppies. She was a very proud and devoted aunt to her niece and nephew.

She is survived by sister, Denise (Mall) Sickonic (John), of Northampton; niece Jenell (Schlener) Wilbanks (Bruce) and Jenell’s children, Jasmine, Alexis and Madison; nephew Brian J. Schlener Jr., (Katie) and his daughter Ella; aunts and many cousins. Survivors also include her husband’s family: Mother Beverly Bragg; step-father Gene Bragg, and sisters Jayne and Julie. Carol left behind her beloved fur babies, Max, Charlie and Abby, and will be dearly missed by good friends, Liz Cree and Denise Zimmardi.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 1st at 11:00 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service in the funeral home. Interment will be at Zion Cemetery, Northampton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to “City of Henderson, Animal Protection Services”, 300 E. Galleria Dr., Henderson NV 89011, or to a charity of one’s choice.
