I am so grateful that Carol was in my life. I think we met around 1978. Over the years we went on many long walks , usually followed up by a meal at Empress of China ( we combined (Szechuan shrimp with the princess chicken ) Carol appreciated beauty and comfort. She was an original , and A dear beloved friend.

My sister Hoppy was a unique character for sure. Anyone who knew her knew she enjoyed a good laugh. For many years she and Larry would come to Florida and stay with me. Whether oceanside or poolside, this is where the two of them would be blissfully perched. My sister was very much a cat person. One time her and Larry had a stray cat that showed up with her kittens. They named her Bernadette and Hoppy had all the kittens neutered and found them all good homes. Their other cat was...

My aunt Carol always went by the nickname Hoppy. Hoppy was a cheerful person that visited me yearly. She would stay in our guest bedroom and enjoy time on our back porch. Before that, we would vacation together on Cape Cod every year. As a child I thought her home in Flint was so far away from mine in Massachusetts. I used to say to my mother (her sister)... "I love you all the way to Hoppy's house and back." As you know, your sister Gail's computer skills are not to the level needed to type...

I really liked Carol, had many interaction in Criminal Justice. She was respected by so many, always smiling with words of encouragement. Happy she is with her son.
