Carol Treolo Obituary
Carol Rae Treolo, 87, of Bluefield, WV, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. Born January 26, 1936, in Lamar, WV, Carol was a daughter of the late Harold Bowling and Twila White McBride. She retired after many years from Kroger where she worked in the Deli. She had been a resident of Bluefield for 60 years and was of the Christian faith. Carol loved to bowl and enjoyed spending time with the friends she made while bowling. She also loved playing cards with her family. Carol will be missed by her dear family and friends. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her stepfather, J.K. McBride; grandmother, Hattie White; and brother, William (Inky) Bowling and son in law Robert Lee Perry.
Those left to cherish Carol’s memory are her loving husband of 61 years, Howard Treolo of the home; sons, William Noble and wife, Brenda, Howard L. Treolo, Jr., and Michael Ray Treolo, all of Bluefield, WV; daughters, Elisa D. Noble and Kimberly K. Noble, both of Bluefield, WV, and Lora Perry of Princeton, WV; sister, Wanda White, of Princeton, WV; 2 grandchildren, William Kellis Noble, II and Brittany Miller of Bluefield, WV, and Zachary and Alexis Noble of Pearisburg, VA; 3 great-grandchildren, Logan Brewster of Oak Hill, WV, Kendall Noble of Bluefield, WV, and Crew Ivan Noble of Pearisburg, VA; 2 step grandchildren, Tim and Ashley Perry, and Bobby Joe and Kathy Perry; 2 step great-grandchildren, Easton and Paisley Perry; special nieces, Leigh Anne Brogan and Anna Butcher.
The family would also like to thank Compassus Hospice for their professional care and the kindness they were shown by Kim and Heather.
In keeping with Carol’s wishes, she will be cremated, and a service will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.cravens-shires.com. Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Treolo family.

What can I say other than she was like my second Mom. I was the adopted one. We all bowled together for many years & always had a great time. Carol was the sweetest person who had a beautiful soul. She shared a room with my sister in the hospital last month and with her circumstances she was still her happy self. I got to tell her how much I loved her and we made plans for her to come down and drink tea with me sitting on my porch. I loved her jokes, GOD truly gained an beautiful angel.
