Carrol Castles Obituary
CASTLES, Carrol Jeanette – Of Flint Township, age 83, died Thursday, July 31, 2025.
Funeral service will be held 11am Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Pastor Gary Shooltz officiating.
Visitation 5-8pm Monday and 10am Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Carrol was born in Canalou, Missouri on September 24, 1941, the daughter of the late Ernest L. and Mable (Gray) Atchley. Carrol married Carl Castles in September 1960. She enjoyed reading, quilting, traveling, gardening and spending time with her family.
Surviving are husband, Carl Ardan Castles;
Sons, David (Eileen) Castles and Roger (Robbyn) Castles;
Grandchildren, Andy (Lisa) Castles, Ryan (Jessica) Castles, Elyssa (Kyle) Biron, Olivia Castles;
Along with many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Boise Rayburn Atchley and sisters, Melva Sue Colbert, Phylis Marion Cox and Joyce Ann Walters.
