Mrs. Carrol Andria Figueredo, age 87 of Morgan Hill, CA, passed away in the early hours of May 28, 2025 while surrounded by loved ones at the Santa Clara Medical Center after a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis. She was laid to rest at Mount Hope Memorial Park in Morgan Hill on June 7th, 2025.
Carrol was born on August 29, 1937 in North Attleboro, MA to Marion and Elton Healy. She attended primary school at Saint Mary’s School in North Attleboro and high school at North Miami High School in North Miami Beach, FL where she graduated in 1955. She went on to attend Barry College in Miami where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1959.
After college, Carrol embarked on a career as a teacher of English, as well as of French and Spanish. She is remembered as a passionate educator, garnering the adoration of her students over her many years of service. Carrol was widely known for her love of singing and was trained as an operatic soprano, expertly performing at numerous events and venues throughout her life. Her other passion was sports. She was an avid fan of both baseball and football who enjoyed nothing more than watching her two favorite teams play on gameday, those being the Tampa Bay Rays and the Miami Dolphins.
Carrol is survived by her loving and dedicated husband of 49 years, Domingo Figueredo, and by her children, Galen, John-Paul, Andria, David and Marc Bradford and their families. In 1960, Carrol married Karl Bradford with whom she had her five children. They were married at the White Cliffs Country Club in Plymouth, MA. After her divorce from Karl in 1975, she married Domingo in Daytona Beach, FL in 1976 and they remained committed partners and best friends for the remainder of Carol’s life. Domingo is left with a deep sense of gratitude that the Lord God brought them together in love and allowed them to spend their lives together. Carol’s entire family remembers her tenderness and devotion as a mother, along with her courage, fortitude and protective spirit.
Carrol was a committed Catholic who took solace in prayer and in the worship of Jesus Christ, with her favorite dedication being that of the Mysteries of the Rosary. We honor her with joy and gladness in our hearts and believe that God will be with her always.
