Not sure what to say?

I met Cathy's daughter Sarah when I was a teenager. Then I met her parents and would see them now and then- every single time I felt this is where Sarah gets her incredible beauty and kindness. Cathy shared a sense of warmth and calm and smiles- such a lovely person. I am so very sad to hear of her passing and to her whole family and all of her dear friends- my heart is with you. My first thought is I will pick a special plant to put in our garden for her that will continue to grow. Much love...

I met your husband Charles one month after you left this earthly plane. He came into the YMCA at your daughters urging. I noted the wedding band and mentioned that the type of membership for which he was eligible required his partner sign up individually, rather than as a couple. He said he didnt have a wife, that she died one month ago. Although it wasnt an easy conversation, especially given the circumstances, he related some of what happened. The pained and lost expression as he spoke of...

Cathy was the kindness, always has a beautiful smile for whomever she encountered

Cathy was such a special part of our lives for so many years. We have countless happy memories of the great times we spent together. Cathy, we love you and miss you dearly. Jon and Meg Parker

A dear and beautiful friend who will always be in my heart. I hope your many warm memories of your loving wife, mother and grandmother will help you through this most difficult time. Thinking of you all.

Losing Cathy is difficult for me to reconcile. She was such a special friend to me and an important part of my life. Our parents were friends before we were even born. I have known her all my life. She made the world a better and more beautiful fun place. I feel a loss of joy.
Cathy so loved her family. My heart goes out to all of you. I lost my own mother under similar circumstances. I share your pain and grief. I loved her too.

So many wonderful memories of family vacations, Christmases, 4th of Julys, family celebrations and just living life with Cathy...from Longview to Mount Vernon. I will always remember her beautiful eyes, infectious laugh, and countless kindnesses. Much love and sympathy for Charlie, Dave, Sara, and family for your loss.

Ray and I have so many delightful memories of sweet Cathy Sue. The many hikes, bike rides, trips to Whistler, dining together....So many wonderfully fun times. My high school days with Cathy and a year sharing a studio apartment in Seattle, we were so young! Cathy shared her precious family with us over the decades and we share the loss of their adorable wife, mother, sister, grandmother.
Our love and sympathy,
Pat and Ray Ernst

She was and always will be the love of my life.
