Cecile Shepherd Patterson

Cecile Shepherd Patterson, who entered eternal rest on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on July 30, 1950, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Cecile was the second of nine children born to the late Victor Shepherd, Sr. and Hilda Jackson Shepherd. 

Cecile was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lounel Patterson of Liberty, Mississippi; her sister, Cynthia Lewis (James); and her brothers, Victor Shepherd, Jr. (Vindella) and Cornell Shepherd.

She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted daughters, Trina Nicole Patterson and Erica Patterson Flowers; her loving son-in-law, Henry Flowers; and her four treasured grandsons, Henry Jackson, Hudson Flowers, Hylton Flowers, and Hendrix Flowers.

She is also survived by her sisters, Sheila Robinson (Percy), Cassandra Darries, Desiree Shepherd (Kevin), and Crystal Shepherd; her brothers, Ronald Shepherd(Lisa), Sr. and Wilton Shepherd; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
