MUNERLYN, Ms. Charise-age 48, of Flint, passed away Friday, October 14, 2016 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon Friday, October 28, 2016 with an 11:00 am family hour at Greater Holy Temple Church 6702 N. Dort Hwy., Flint, MI 48505. Bishop Darnell Munerlyn officiating. Bishop Roger L. Jones Sr. Host Pastor. The final resting place for Ms. Munerlyn will be Gracelawn Community Cemetery, Flint, MI. Public viewing hours are Thursday, October 27, 2016 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel.
Ms. Charise Lynette Munerlyn was born February 28, 1968 in Flint, MI, the daughter of Mr. Calvin Munerlyn Sr. and Betty Brown. Ms. Charise Lynette Munerlyn was a life-long resident of Flint and a member of Embassy of Christ Church of Living Faith. She graduated from Beecher High School class of 1986 and earned her Bachaelors Degree in Child Education. Charise worked for Beecher Community Schools for many years. This school year, she accomplished her dream of becoming a teacher. Ms. Charise Lynette Munerlyn was a kind, passionate, loving, and giving person. She loved teaching and children. Charise was always strong, wise, hardworking, God fearing and spiritual.
Ms. Charise Lynette Munerlyn leaves to cherish her memory: 2 sons, Adrian Munerlyn and Bobby Plair Jr. both of Flint, MI; mother, Betty Brown of Flint, MI; 2 brothers, Bishop Darnell (Chenectscha) Munerlyn Sr. and Calvin Munerlyn Jr. both of Flint, MI; 2 sisters, Tasha Lee (Robert Scott) and Tawana (Tim) Beauguard both of Flint, MI; grandmother, Elizabeth Albert of Flint, MI; 4 nephews, Darnell Munerlyn Jr., Sahvon Lee, Shaheen (Sashiana) Munerlyn and Sharvel (Kaymee) Munerlyn; 6 nieces, Porche Munerlyn, Shykierra Xavier) Willis, Shariah Lee, Tatiana Munerlyn, Rosha' Blackmon and Te'Lor Key; 3 uncles, Dennis (Inez) Albert, Ramon Munerlyn and Raydell (Lorraine) Munerlyn; 4 aunts, Brenda Albert, Deborah Johnson, Etoy Harrison and Bernadette Munerlyn; 2 great-aunts, Mary Hunter and Lilly Gentry; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends, including close friend, Teresa Pegues and childhood best friend, Becky Brown.
Ms. Charise Lynette Munerlyn was preceded in death by: father, Calvin Lee Munerlyn Sr.; 3 uncles, Sylvester Albert, Prentince Munerlyn and Irving Albert; grandparents, Gertrude Munerlyn, Bernice Munerlyn, Mary-Frances Munerlyn, and Corneilous Albert.
