Charles Boco Obituary

Mr. Charles Gautimozin Boco, 62, of 930 Valley Drive, Petersburg, entered into eternal rest suddenly Monday morning, October 21, 2013 at his residence.

As a young child, he grew up in Manhattan, New York. Upon completion of his educational requirements, he enlisted into the United States Army, where he served for ten years, having his last tour in Germany. After his military career, he made his home in Petersburg, Virginia. There he became employed with Rainbow Taxi Cab Company and eventually was the owner of his own Taxi. He was avid reader a fan of the Sci Phi channel. He enjoyed the simple things of life, and enjoyed his family and friends. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him dearly.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Carolyn Boco of Petersburg; his children, Charles Boco of New York, Aishia Boco, both of New York, Natasha Boco of Petersburg, Brian McIntosh of New York and grandson, Nathaniel McIntosh of New York.


A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the Petersburg Chapel of the Joseph M. Johnson & Son Funeral Home, with the Rev. Herbert R. Holly, II, pastor of the St. John Baptist Church, Stony Creek, officiating. Public viewing will be held on Friday October 25, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
