Charles Crouch Obituary

Charles David Crouch, age 82, of Warsaw, MO, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2015, at the Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton, MO. He was born on June 25, 1933, in Climax Springs, MO, the son of Tom and Artie Morris Crouch.

He grew up in Climax Springs and graduated from Climax Springs High School in 1951. He began working for the Highway Department on the surveying crew until he was inducted into the United States Army on July 24, 1953. He was honorably discharged on June 2, 1955.

On May 15, 1954, he was united in marriage to Norma McDowell at Tunis, MO. They made their home in Kansas where he worked as a train car inspector for the Santa Fe Railroad, retiring in 1995.
In the early 1960's, Charles and Norma moved to Windsor, MO where they made their home until December of 1975 when they moved to Kansas City, KS. In 1998, they moved to Warsaw, MO.

Charles was an ordained minister and served as Chaplin for Twin Lakes Hospice for several years. He was a member of the Worldwide Missionary Evangelism and always was willing to share the word of God and provide comfort to many.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Betty Smallwood.

Surviving is his devoted wife of 61 years, Norma, of the home, two sons, Brad Crouch and wife, Beth, of Lincoln, MO, and David Crouch, and wife, Donna, of Warsaw, 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, four brothers, Jesse Crouch and Paul Crouch, both of Windsor, MO, Sonny Crouch of Goodson, MO, and Earl Crouch of Sedalia, MO, a sister, Wanda Howard, also of Sedalia, numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
