Not sure what to say?

I met Chuck in early 1995 when I was a very junior professional philatelist. Chuck was the absolute best -- always smiling, a joy to be around and talk with, and unquestionably one of the nicest people I have ever met. He is irreplaceable in the hobby of stamp collecting. I will miss him, I will smile when I think of him, and I will talk about him with my fellow philatelists at future stamp shows and auctions. My deepest condolences to Teresa and Mark and the entire Cwiakala family.

So sorry for your loss. God Bless the entire family

We had so much fun with Chuck when he was out at the Casino. I was just a "Peanut". Loved to have him with us in the water because he would "gently" throw me over his head or out in front. Even through the years at family celebrations he called me "Peanut" Thanks Chuck for all the good memories. You will be in my heart forever

He was a great neighbor and is missed

So surprising, and we, Chuck's classmates from Weber '56, share your sadness & loss. He will be remembered whenever we get together, in our prayers and at our Alumni annual Masses.

Charles was, as others have said, a special man. One of his many gifts was to immediately put others in his company at ease. His sense of humor and many stories captivated us over the years we had the honor of knowing him. Tanya, you are so like your father, your closeness makes this loss heavier on your soul. We are here, as are all your many friends and family, to help you through your grief.

"Pops" was my philatelic father. I cannot say enough kind words about him and his family. I am blessed to have worked with him over 39 years. Warmest regards and deepest sympathies. Cathy Skinner Parks

Chuck was my role model from the time I met him. A person who knew no strangers because in five minutes with him, you were convinced that you were his best friend. All a father can do is raise his children the best he can and hope that what was good in him is seen in them. this he did. The world is a sadder place without him in it.
