Charles Huckaby Obituary
Wayne Huckaby of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015 at the Grace Health Care.
He was born May 7, 1934 in Amber, OK to the late Clarence & Hazel Huckaby; and he came here in 2000 from Virginia. He was a retired Baptist minister, serving locally at the Bethel Baptist Church and the Golfview Baptist Church; his life revolved around his ministry. He was also a director of transportation in Madison, VA.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Lavita Sue Huckaby; daughter, Sheila Tabor (Gary) of Pampa, TX; son, Scott Huckaby (Anita) of Lake Wales; brother, Olan Huckaby (Donna) of Fort Collins, CO; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
