He trained at Fort Dix where he was injured by shrapnel during exercises and was Honorably discharged from the Army in 1964. Social Charlie was an avid sportsman who enjoyed golf, hunting and fishing as well as being a member of the Knights of Columbus. I hope you all know how much Charlie loved his family (especially his wife and his kids). He spoke so highly of times down in Brigantine. I hope Charlie is somewhere fishing on a boat, with a big smile on his face. I hope he is somewhere where he can take his morning walk and enjoy his cup of coffee. I feel so lucky to have met him. Rest in Peace Charlie.

I'm very sorry that I will be unable to attend Charlie's Mass. I remember many happy and fun occasions with Charlie, Jane, Tom, Knute, and all the McIntyre's. They knew how to enjoy life! My deepest sympathy to all Charlie's family and friends.

I am deeply sorry for Uncle Charlie's passing. I will cherish especially the last time I saw him, his beaming smile & that welcoming hug. His humor even the sideways stuff brought joy to many. He is well now and with love ones. Blessing and prayers be with all of you.
