Tabernacle - Charlie passed “graduated" surrounded by his loving family, on December 29, 2018 at his daughter’s residence in Naples, FL, at age 82. Predeceased by his wife, Alice “Jane” McIntyre (nee Cogan), daughter Jane “Lisa”  Zieminski, son in law Mark Zieminski and grandson Eric Charles McIntyre (Nicole); his siblings, Joseph McIntyre, Agnes Mahoney, Margaret Zerillo and Francis McIntyre. Survived by his children, Victoria McIntyre, Judi McIntyre-Brewster (Bill), Kathy O’Brien (Mike), Donna Wallace and Michael McIntyre; Grandchildren, Dianna Sheikh, Sean Kline, Caitlin Haar, Nicole Federici, Lauren Federici, Brittany Brewster, Christopher Brewster, Tyler Brewster, Allison Brewster, Michaela O’Brien, Cogan Wallace, KellyAnne Hayden, Jeffery Zieminski, Ryan Zieminski, Colin Zieminski and Anna Jane Zieminski; Great Grandchildren, Isaac Kolesnikov, William Haar, Colton Haar, Charlotte McIntyre and Julian Sheikh, as well as many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Charles, the youngest of five children, was born in Philadelphia, PA on May 6, 1936 to the late Joseph and Margaret (nee Hafer) McIntyre. He was a standout athlete @ Woodrow Wilson High School, lettering in football and baseball, in fact he had a short stint playing semipro baseball with the Philadelphia Phillies farm team. He trained at Fort Dix where he was injured by shrapnel during exercises and was Honorably discharged from the Army in 1964. Social Charlie was an avid sportsman who enjoyed golf, hunting and fishing as well as being a member of the Knights of Columbus. Most of his career was dedicated to sales, at which he excelled and was recognized for his numerous achievements with American Home Foods and Kraft Foods. For a short time he was also a part owner of the Elidro Bar in Pleasantville NJ. His was a devoted father and his greatest accomplishment was raising his six children with grace, faith and humor. He loved to laugh and tell jokes, even if they were wildly inappropriate.

Charlie retired and moved to Muncy Valley, Pa to pursue his love of the outdoors and spent most of his time hunting and fishing or talking about it. When he returned to South Jersey in 2007 he moved to Tabernacle, where he could watch the wildlife out his window and tell us again and again how he once hunted where this or that shopping center is now located.  He was devoted to his church and loved to discuss theology and the mysteries of faith.

I hope you all know how much Charlie loved his family (especially his wife and his kids). He spoke so highly of times down in Brigantine. I hope Charlie is somewhere fishing on a boat, with a big smile on his face. I hope he is somewhere where he can take his morning walk and enjoy his cup of coffee. I feel so lucky to have met him. Rest in Peace Charlie.

I'm very sorry that I will be unable to attend Charlie's Mass. I remember many happy and fun occasions with Charlie, Jane, Tom, Knute, and all the McIntyre's. They knew how to enjoy life! My deepest sympathy to all Charlie's family and friends.

I am deeply sorry for Uncle Charlie's passing. I will cherish especially the last time I saw him, his beaming smile & that welcoming hug. His humor even the sideways stuff brought joy to many. He is well now and with love ones. Blessing and prayers be with all of you.
