This is late since I send sympathy cards, but Chuck Sr. was a great husband, father and friend to so many who knew him. He made you feel at home with his warm smile and hearty laugh. A truly good man who walked the walk, with his giving heart and helping hand. Several times he and his wife Judith opened their home to family members in need. Living in North Carolina, I was unable to be with them often, but always enjoyed my times I had with them. May our Lord open His door to Heaven and welcome Chuck into His home. May he continue his new life with a smile on his face amoung his new friends. My sympathies to Judy and the family.

I will miss our conversations and texting about Cleveland Sports teams and the Guardians/Indians over the many years. From sticking the fork in them one week to the next what an excellent team they are, we lived and died with Cleveland teams over the many years. I am so glad I had the chance to sit with Chuck and watch a Guards game just a few weeks ago. Chuck was a great man, a great family man, and a loving husband to Judy.
He has been laid to rest, but we will all have many memories of Chuck to keep him alive in our hearts. Life goes by so quickly and tomorrow is promised to no one, so enjoy your friends, and family members and appreciate them while you can.
May God hold you in his arms Chuck, and may the Guardians go to the World Series and bring home a winner for you, we certainly have been waiting a long time for that to happen.
Miss you, Chuck.

Dear Reimel Family,
My sympathies to all of you in the loss of Chuck Sr. I had the privilege of being in his company only a few times at family events, but he was always fun and engaging to be around, smiling and sharing his great sense of humor. He will be sorely missed by so many. May the love of friends and family and shared memories comfort you at this difficult time.

Charlie was a great man and mentor to work for and with when my career was getting underway at Kovachy Brothers. He made work a lot of fun. Here's to you old friend. I hope your chariot of the heavens is chopped and channeled!!! Love you Chuck.

Kind, thoughtful, sincere, but also realistic. He was fun and also genuinely interested and serious about so many topics. We enjoyed knowing him and sharing a friendship in the years after high school.

We are so sorry for your loss and want you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers. I met Mr. and Mrs. Reimel at the airport the same day I met their son Chuck in 1985. Chuck and I were waiting for our flight to Chicago to start our United States Navy adventure. This day was the beginning of a long and continuing friendship between both our families. What a great man and family Mr. Reimel is and has. Mrs. Reimel, please take comfort in knowing Mr. Reimel is in a better place and that you are in our thoughts and being prayed for by both the Mentor and Cincinnati Plageman families. Be strong and support each other knowing you are safely in God's arms. Please reach out if there is anything we can do to support you during this trying time. Love, David, Lauren, Abigail, and Benjamin Plageman.

Chuck n Judy were one of the first classmate/friend I met after coming home from military service in England 58 years ago, they met my bride to be Isobel at his bar in willoughby. They both welcomed her with open arms and we have remained friends over the years. Chuck was always the wickliffe class of 60 spokesmen at all our reunions until our last one several weeks ago. Chuck will be deeply missed by all and remain in our hearts forever, Love ya Chuck. You´re friends Ken n Isobel Ziernicki
