I had the pleasure of serving with Charlotte "Sherry" on the Groton Housing Authority. She cared deeply for the tenants of both Pequot Village and Grasso and was a true advocate for senior housing and senior concerns. She had a quiet spirit and a heart of kindness. My sincere condolences and blessings to Charlotte's family and friends. Karen Hatcher

Charlotte I can remember you from when we were just young kids in Waterville. You knew my Mom and we had many conversations about growing up. You had a heart of gold. I will always remember how good you treated everyone. I guess in a way we are family and I am proud to say you were an inlaw to my son. We shared many memories together. R.I.P always and Forever in my heart. ❤❤

Mrs. Cookson was my neighbor on Terrace Ave for many years. I was blessed. She taught me many life lessons that I will forever carry. We shared many laughs, many stories about life and love. She's now with her husband and they both will watch over the whole family. I am sending my prayers, love and thoughts during this difficult time.

Our hearts and prayers are with Charlotte’s family in these difficult times. Cheri was a proud wife, mom, grandmother, and of course a great grandmother with a tremendous love of her family. Both Cheri and her husband Jeff were close family friends for many years. Cheri was one of my best friends and confidant, the sister I had when we first met, she had a soft voice, but a contagious laugh and did we laugh. A truly beautiful person inside and out. Thank you for your love and friendship sister, memories my family will have forever. Until we meet again.

I'm sorry for the loss of your mom. I remember her very well, she was always good to me. I can close my eyes and see her face perfectly. I know it is hard to take comfort in losing someone, especially to cancer, and the oldest saying is she's not in pain anymore. Please take comfort in that, and the fact that she was here for you for so long. As you know my mom died of cancer over 30 years ago so I lived what you're living now. I'm happy in my heart that your mom stuck around to see you all grow and become the people you are and the families you've created. We were all so very close once upon a time and the love of those friendships stays with me always. Take care and God bless. My sincerest regrets that I cannot attend the services next week.
