Charlotte A. “Letty” Hobel, 79, of Whitehall, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. Born April 4, 1945, in Coplay, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. Sr. and Anna (Kramer) Hobel. Letty worked as a teacher in the Whitehall-Coplay School District for many years. She also worked for Pillsbury/General Mills later in her career. Letty was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay. She was well-known for her Victorian Creations, especially porcelain dolls.
Survivors: sons, Daniel (Dianne) and David (Gwen); grandchildren, Casey, Meggan, Rylee, Jessica, and Kris; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Charles A. Jr.
Services: A prayer service will be held on Saturday, July 13th at 11:00 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Family and friends may call on Saturday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to Pennsylvania Association for the Blind in Letty’s memory. Online condolences may be offered below.

I worked with her. She was a wonderful person. We often had lunch before work and I also purchased some of her wonderful dolls. So very sorry for your loss. May she rest in peace .
