My deepest sympathies to Cherie's family and close friends. I worked with Cherie and she truly was a light. She was committed to serving Michigan's vulnerable populations and did so with passion and perseverance. I truly enjoyed working with her, talking with her and laughing with her. Adrienne, I wanted to let you know that your mother spoke of you with me often. She was so proud of you and loved you so much; it was a beautiful thing to experience. Praying that you are comforted and cared for in your time of grief.
