Cherly Throckmorton Obituary
Cherly Ann Throckmorton, 68 of Arat, NC, passed away on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025 at Mountain Valley – Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Mrs. Throckmorton was born in Compton, CA, to the late Nicholas and Muriel Konoloff. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Throckmorton, and son, Thomas Throckmorton, Sr.
Survivors include her daughter, Linsay Rae Throckmorton; daughter-in-law, Crystal Throckmorton; grandchildren, Thomas Throckmorton Jr., Nicholas Throckmorton and fiancé, Courtney Kuhl, Christian Throckmorton, Edward McCraw III, Clinton McCraw, Tianna McCraw, Journey Mayes, and Ethan Mayes; great-grandchild, Sunny Throckmorton; sister, Becky Sadler; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 9th, 2025 at the McCraw Family Cemetery with Ed Bowman officiating. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.

I was so blessed to have met and to have become friends with this precious lady. For years she sent me a daily devotional and always reminded me that she was praying for me. We had many wonderful chats - chats that I will miss terribly. I am so glad to know she is resting peacefully in the arms of our Lord and Savior.

I love you, Granny. You were my best friend. I am gonna miss making you laugh and all the conversations we had together; and our monthly trips together to see the, doctor. You were truly a one of a kind soul and will be missed always. You, Papa and Thomas don't have to be apart anymore. I will see yall when I get there. Give, Jesus big hugs for me. Xoxo.
