My thoughts and prayers are with y’all. I did not know Mr. Phillips but, if Frankie and Ashley are anything close to the type of person he was then he must have been a great man. If I can do anything at all please don’t hesitate to ask.

Dear Chip and Family, So sorry for your loss. I believe in my heart, even though I never met your father, that he was an honorable man, wonderful husband, great Dad and Grandfather, as he raised you! He had to be very proud of you and your family. Two hardest days in my life: the day I lost my grandfather and the day my father passed. Hold tight to your memories. Speak often of your father. The Native Americans believed that if the dear departed's name passed your lips often, they lived on in your soul. Sending many warm hugs and prayers, Susan Hudson

I was very sorry to hear of Chester Ray's passing. I called him Ray. I always enjoyed being around him at auctions and VFW functions. He was nice, smart and interesting to talk to. Unfortunately I have not seen him to several years but have fond memories of him. We are praying for peace and comfort for the family.

We will miss you and your many stories about family, Korea, farming, cows, the arsenal, racing and baseball. You were one of the hardest working men I’ve ever known and you provided well for your family. You helped raise three wonderful men. I’m so happy to have been your daughter-in-law for over 43 years. I wish your last couple of years could have been easier for you but you can have eternal peace now❤ Love you forever, Grandpa!
