Together they owned the Teton Restaurant, Teton Catering, and Liquor Banke until his retirement in 1994. Vaslie continued the family catering business until her retirement in 2016. Being able to feed thousands of people was one of their favorite achievements.

To the family of Chris,

I send you my deepest condolences for your great loss. No words can ever express the loss you, myself & the Green River, WY community has suffered in loosing Chris. I know for myself, some of my fondest memories as a kid, are of hanging out at the Teton Restaurant & Chris fussing over us & making sure we had everything we needed.
Chris was an amazingly kind & generous soul that had an abundance of faith in family & love of life. I'm grateful that he taught us kids how to be the same. Chris will be greatly missed & I'm glad I got to be a part of his life.
May the Heaven's & the Universe wrap you in it's light, love, peace, healing, faith & hope today & in the days to come.
Blessed Be Amen❣

Vaslie, Nicholas and Christopher:

Nothing but great memories of Chris. The greatest memory of him comes from a genius he showed the world in how he could feed hundreds up to a thousand people a dinner rating 5 Gold Forks at the Sweetwater events complex to the parking lot of one of the chemical plants or a drilling site east of Rock Springs. It's been well over twenty years since I've had the pleasure and enjoyment of working for Teton Catering at a Christmas Party or the RMEF annual banquet. I have not seen in over twenty years a company or person who can coordinate and perform the events mentioned with the style and elegance Chris and Vaslie delivered.

I'm very sorry for your loss. Please accept my condolences.
