Christen Renee Barrett

Christen Renee (Puckett) Barrett passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 5th, 2026.
Christen was born February 4th, 1974 in Washington D.C. to Danny and Mary Elizabeth Puckett.
Christen had most recently worked at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) for over 17 years as the Associate Director of Financial Aid. She was a beautiful, passionate and hardworking person who loved animals, to travel and her family. She was loved and will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her devoted husband James Barrett, daughter Iris Neher, granddaughter Ellenoir, sister Emily Smith and Emily’s husband Rodney Smith.
At her request, there is only a private family service. If you would like to make a contribution in Christen’s memory, please send that to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA.org).

In loving memory of a wonderful person. I will love you and miss you always. Christen, I will cherish all the great memories I have of you. Some of the fondest memories I will cherish is when we were on the hockey field kicking butt.
