We are so sorry for your loss! It was an honor and a joy to know Chris. He was a dear, kind young man and we can't believe you are left without him. He was a wonderful neighbor to us, and even called us now and then after we moved away. We will miss him.
And the Bronx now has an unfillable hole in its heart.

I didn’t know Chris well. I really wish I had. Just a cashier at a store he visited. But I could tell from the moment we met that his soul was beautiful and his heart was pure. It was even more obvious when I saw how loved he was by so many people in the neighborhood. He is missed, and although we weren’t friends, his passing will always weigh on my heart. Because the world lost a good one far too soon.
To his family, I hope you can find peace in knowing that Chris touched the hearts of SO many. Even those who didn’t know him as well.
