Clannie Profet, Jr., born on March 28, 1948, in Houston, Texas, was the beloved son of Clannie Profet Sr. and Ida Mae Perkins Profet. As the youngest of eight children, Clannie was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, sisters Dessie, Audrey, and Novella, and brothers Ralph, Howard, Precious, and Clarence.
Clannie was a proud graduate of Jack Yates High School and dedicated his career to the trucking industry. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his devoted wife, Sharon Hamilton Profet; his sons, Lionel Dow (Monique) and William Dow (Julia); his daughter, Erika (Keon); nine grandchildren; one great-grandson; and numerous nephews, nieces, and friends.
A viewing will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 10:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am at Mt. Canaan M.B.C., located at 7400 N. Wayside Dr, Houston, Texas 77028.
