Clydie Bell Legans, 82, of Roanoke, passed away peacefully Monday, March 15th, 2021 at Lewis Gale Hospital.
She was born August 19th, 1938 in Franklin County to the late Emery and Ollie Martin Leftwich. She was proceeded in death by her husband Curtis Legans Sr, grandson James “Fathead” Jones, nieces Bernice Leftwhich & “Shugg”, two sisters; Josephine & Della Mae and four brothers.
Clydie Bell was a nurse for over 30 years. She enjoyed taking care of her family and others. She took pride in helping anyone she could. She never turned her back on anyone.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Nancy (Twine) Legans, sons, Curtis Legans, Carl (Dorothea), James (Janice), Wayne (Rena), grandchildren; Tara, Wayne, Helena, Patrick, Robert “Dee” Buckland and 15 others, 16 Greatgrandchildren a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a special friend and caregiver Rena “Red” Hunt.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 20, 2021, 11:00 am at Garden of Prayer No. 7 Vision of Faith Ministries. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The interment will be in Williams Memorial Park. Special thanks to Lewis Gale ICU for your great care.
