Comer Owens, Jr Obituary
Comer had been the Director of Advertising for the Bristol Herald Courier in Bristol, TN. He had attended his Athens High School 50th-year class reunion last summer in Georgia.
He is survived by daughter, Lynn Elizabeth (Tim) Owens Jones; son, Lee Howell (Jennifer) Owens; two grandchildren, Evan & Elin Jones; brother, Richard (Dyne) Owens; sisters, Rebecca (Gil Reeve) Owens & Kathy (Chuck) Phillips; and one niece and one nephew.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 4, 2012 at Oconee Hill Cemetery, 297 Cemetery St, Athens, GA 30605. Burial will be in Oconee Hill Cemetery.
