After many years of working outside of the home Connie later returned to the home to be the bookkeeper for their family company, Eastman Trucking and Log Yard until her passing.
Connie enjoyed cooking, bingo, casinos and spending time with family and friends. She loved family get togethers especially cookouts and the holidays. She also cherished watching her grandson Jordan John play basketball. Some of her favorite moments were spent in Florida shopping and taking advantage of the nice weather with her sister Ann. Connie also liked taking cruises and going to Georgia each year with family. Among Connie’s favorite things was her love for hummingbirds.

As you get older in life and start loosing friends and people you know, it seems like we are taken from this earth way to early . Have we done and accomplished all we wanted to do, have we experienced joy, have we left our mark and touched others with love ? Connie did all of this, she has done all of this and more. She will be missed, but look at what she has left us with..love,laughter,hope,friendships,and memories all things we wouldn’t of had ,had she not been in our lives. Gone but never forgotten.

Rick and family, We are so sorry for your loss. We didn’t realize she’d been sick. It’s so hard losing someone you love. Try to remember the good times and her smile. She always had a smile whenever I would see her❤
