One of the greatest people on the planet. I have so many fond memories. One of my mom’s dearest friends. There were car trips to Lebanon where we would drop off Connie and continue to Frankfort. Such a dear soul. She will be missed. Condolences.

I have many fond memories of Mrs. Mattix. I first met her when I helped her get her 6th grade classroom ready at Mundell. As an adult, I ran into her every year at the Teacher’s Convention in Indianapolis. She was a treasure.
