Constance R. “Connie” (Bertrand) Londergan, 87, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at home.
Born in Springfield on March 2, 1938, daughter of the late Alphonse and Jeanne (Ethier) Bertrand, she grew up in Springfield, attended the former St. Joseph’s Elementary School and was a 1955 graduate of Cathedral High School.
She married Bernard J. Londergan on May 3, 1958 and moved to West Springfield where she lived for over fifty years.
Connie worked a number of jobs including Security National, Sears & Roebuck, Third National Bank, and O’Malley Printers. She retired from the Holyoke District Court probation department.
She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard (Bernie) J. Londergan in 2000, her brother Albert Bertrand, her sister Claire Bertrand and her nephew Jay Bertrand.
She leaves her five children and their spouses, Mark and Kathleen Londergan of Orlando, FL, Tricia and Jeff Gay of Charlton, Michael and Laurie Londergan of East Longmeadow, Pam and Jim Henry of West Springfield and Paula and Randy Millier of West Springfield. She also leaves a sister, Marguerite Cyr of West Springfield, twelve grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, two nephews and a niece.
Connie enjoyed spending time on Big Pond in Otis, Ma where she and her husband had a summer cottage, going to the casino with her friend Janet McCarthy and spending time with family and friends. She resided at Heritage Woods in Agawam, MA for the last 9 years where she was well loved by the staff and residents. She enjoyed playing (winning) games with all of her friends. She also truly enjoyed beating the ladies at cards especially skat and canasta.
Calling hours are Monday, December 29, 2025 from 9-11am at Curran Jones Funeral Home, 109 Main Street followed by a Funeral Home Service at 11. The burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, all in West Springfield.
