Corina Marie Spoonemore was born on September 27, 1967, in Purcell, Oklahoma to Alvin Orvil Reeves and Betty Corina Reeves (Broyles). Corina, a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, passed from this world peacefully on June 9, 2025, at the age of 57. Corina attended Dibble Public Schools and continued her education at Platt College in Edmond, Oklahoma where she received her degree in Culinary Arts. Corina married Lowery “Lee” Spoonemore on June 20, 1992, in Dibble, Oklahoma. She worked for many years at Norman Regional Hospital and Broadway Living Center as a Chef and Dietitian. Corina found joy in the simple pleasures of life—whipping up homemade meals, creating beautiful crafts—like her famous Diamond Paintings, and most of all, cherishing every moment with her family. Her kitchen was always filled with the comforting smells of her favorite recipes, and her home with handmade touches that brought love to every corner. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love she gave so freely, and purple, her favorite color, will always bring her memory to life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Casey Lynn Spoonemore.
Corina is survived by her husband, Lee Spoonemore of Moore; children, Megan Reeves, Jason Spoonemore, and Elizabeth Spoonemore and boyfriend Damien Sanchez, all of Moore; grandchildren, Journey, Brady, Sawyer, Carter; two brothers, Neil Reeves and wife Diane of Edmond, and Alvin Reeves Jr. of Wewoka; one sister, Kathy Reeves of Newcastle; best friend and aunt, Jeanie Franklin of Blanchard; and many other loved ones and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Corina’s life will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, June 16, 2025, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Viewing for friends and family will be from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. My sweet and precious friend left this world way too early. We went to elementary school and lower grade school before the family moved to Blanchard, ok. I wish cherish our memories on the ball field playing basketball and softball. She could play ball as well as she could cook. I will see you again my dear friend.
