Courtney Lynn Lentz was born on June 15th, 1990 in Conway, South Carolina. She passed away on April 16th, 2025.
She loved the holidays, going to arcades, looking for shark teeth on the beach, and spending time with her daughter Jasmine, other family members, and friends. She often took Jasmine to watch the sunset from the Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk or the Garden City Pier.
She loved food, especially steak and fried chicken, and ate so much that we joked that she must have a tapeworm. She was a playful person, always up for joking around or playing a game. She kept up with pop culture but always had a soft spot for the music, TV shows, and movies that she grew up with.
Courtney attended Waccamaw Elementary School, Carolina Forest Middle School, and Carolina Forest High School. While growing up in Conway, she met Jenny Holden, who would become a lifelong friend.
Courtney is survived by her daughter, Jasmine St. Pierre, parents and stepfather, John Lentz, April Monteforte, and Michael Monteforte, and sister, Kristen Lentz.
She was loved so much and will be deeply missed.
A gathering for close family members and friends will be held at a later date.

Courtney was a force of nature—outspoken, full of life, and never afraid to be herself. She brought energy and joy wherever she went. One of my favorite memories was her spontaneously saying come on girl, lets go to the beach and look for shark teeth. We would listen to music, I'd watch her so happy in the moment as she would dance to a favorite song and hunt for shark teeth, sometimes until sunrise. She had a gift for turning ordinary moments into something unforgettable. I miss her voice, her laughter, and the fearless way she embraced life. Rest in peace, Courtney. You were truly one of a kind, and I’ll carry your spirit with me always. I love you!
