Craig Smith "Big Sexy" of Herriman, UT. Born November 23, 1970, in Salt Lake City, UT at 50 years old, he passed on September 9, 2021.
Craig was raised in the Salt Lake Valley by his loving parents, Randy, and Sandy Smith.
He leaves a huge hole in the hearts of his family and friends who were always intrigued by his stories, daily thoughts and larger than life sense of humor and personality. Craig always brought smiles and positive vibes to any room or place that he entered. We will all miss the big Sasquatch swinging his arms and shaking the trees.
As a young boy growing up, he enjoyed the outdoors, camping and rendezvous. As he grew older, he found a love for music, loud booming stereos, cars, trucks, and motorcycles with a genuine love for life. He enjoyed being with his friends at concerts, motorcycle rallies or any place that he could gather a crowd to socialize.
Craigs' adult career started as a machinist for a medical parts manufacturing company. He progressed and received his bachelor’s degree and became a CAD operator. He excelled in this career and filed and received several US pattens. When life gave him lemons, he ventured into a new career and stepped up to renovating houses and turning them as an owner of his own company setting his 5-year plan.
Craig is survived by his mother, Sandy Smith of St George, UT and his son, Shawn Colton Smith of Herriman, UT.
He is proceeded in passing by his Father, Randy "POPS" Smith.
A "CELEBRATION OF LIFE" will be held Saturday, October 16th, from 2:00 - 4:00 P.M. at Broomhead Funeral Home, 12590 South 2200 West, Riverton, UT 84065.

I don't know how/why I am just learning about your passing. I am so completely shocked. You were truly an amazing person and always had hugs or kind words for just about anyone. I hope you are truly riding the clouds with that great big grin on your face!

I know Craig from helping him with his books for his businesses. He is such a sweet, caring guy. Willing to do anything he could to make things easier for me and willing to learn whatever he could to improve his knowledge of finances and how to help grow his business. He will be greatly missed. Prayers are with his family and friends.
