Dallas Crews, Sr. Obituary
Mr. Dallas Crews Sr. entered into eternal rest peacefully on September 2, 2022. Dallas was born October 16, 1932, to the late Ethel Crews. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, his wife Betty (Phillips) Crews, two daughters Dorothy and Brenda Crews and one grandson Derrick Crews.
Dallas leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, Joyce Crews, Frances Ware (Gary) and Della Reese Crews; one son, Dallas Crews Jr all of Lynchburg VA, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and other family and friends.
Dallas lived a full life of faith, family and friends.
In his early years, he fought for our country in the Korean war. He was a hard worker and worked several years for the Lynchburg Foundry. He was an avid fisherman and loved sports, especially football. Those who knew him knew his team as the Dallas Cowboys. Now he rest amongst the stars in heaven with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
A graveside service will be held 1pm on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Old City Cemetery.
