Thomas Daniel Hodson
December 29, 1964 - January 5, 2021
It is with great heartache that we announce the passing of Thomas Daniel Hodson (Dan). He passed away on January 5th of heart failure at the age of 56, at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, with his loving wife Carol at his side.
Dan is survived by his devoted wife of 34 years, Carol, his mother-in-law Mary, his brothers Dick and Doug, his sisters Donna, Diane and Dale, his sisters-in-law Sheila and Shirley, his nieces and nephews, and an ocean of friends. Dan was predeceased by his father Buster (1975), his mother Alice (2003), his brother Leah (2013), and his brother-in-law Gary (2011).
Dan lived his life practicing kindness and generosity. He was a loving, jovial, passionate and thoughtful man. We could all take a page from Dan’s book. He will be sadly missed by many for a very long time. We do know that Dan is in the loving arms of God, and is at peace with the world - for that, we are grateful.
A celebration of life for Dan will be held later this year, pending the disappearance of COVID-19. Should you wish to be contacted once the date has been established, please e-mail [email protected] with your contact information .
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Mustard Seed Society, 10635 - 96th Street, Edmonton, Alberta T5H 2J4 - marked ‘In Memory of Dan Hodson’.
Psalm 124: 6, 7, 8
6 Blessed be the Lord, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.
7 Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.
8 Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
Proverbs 8:35
For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord.
