Daniel Danks Obituary
Left behind to cherish his memories are his wife, Molly A. Martin-Danks whom he married August 10, 2007; three children, Daniel Danks, Nicholas Danks and Bradie Danks; two step children, Sean Martin and Savannah Martin; his grandchildren, Damon Martin and Kiyanna Martin; his father, Donald (Judy) Danks; many brothers and sisters; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorraine DeCourcy, his uncle, John Danks and his grandparents.
At the request of Dan cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be The Rev. Sharon L. Volker. The family will be present at the funeral from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider donations to wishes of the family.

It is with a heavy heart that I write this note as Dan will be missed. I have fond and memorable times with Dan, from many places, Essexville schools, Metro Skate, Mc Donald's and hanging out on the strip, and at Super Chevy Drag Racing, and spending many a day and night in his dad's garage working on his Camaro and 57 Chevy.
No matter what we always had a blast, and worked hard and played just as hard.
Open the Gate for me when I get there brother !

Awwww MAN! Dan and his family were our neighbors - between us and his parents. No matter where we ran into each other, he hugged me like a brother! A genuine smile and a special soul. We will be out of state on the date of the memorial. Peace ~

Words cannot express the sadness and sorrow i feel for your loss. I have known Dan since high school...Worked with him in a few jobs after that and actually took him 3-wheelin' up north where he destroyed his shoulder years ago...Havent seen much of him in the past 20 years but when I did we spoke about the past and it brought smiles to us both. I will remember his smile the most. So sorry for your loss. I pray God's blessing's of peace and comfort for you all.

Molly I am truly sorry for your loss. I am glad that you both made it to the Family party. I wish I had spent more time visiting with you both. I was Danny,s first babysitter and spent alot of his early years with him and Patsy. I lived out of state while he was growing up but I know that he was the most talented kid in the family. He could do anything he put his mind to and do it to perfection. He will be greatly missed by his family and freinds. Molly let me know if there is anything I can do for you.
