It breaks my heart that you've joined the list of dearly loved friends that I've lost over the last 2-3 years and it just keeps getting longer... You were such a loving, funny and all around great friend, father and you will forever be missed. I hate how much Bree is hurting because you're gone and that you'll never get the chance to be the Dad you wanted, deserved and would have loved to be for Xaniel and Xaydan... Every time I look at Xaydan all I see is you and even though Xaniel looks like you also I see a lil mini Bree. It's like a little mini version of you and her when they are side by side.. I love you Dan and until we meet again, fly high bro!!

I miss you everyday and so does Xaniel. It's been almost a month and I still can't believe you are gone. I love you so much Bubbie. Losing you has been the hardest thing Meemaw has ever faced. Xaydan will be here next week and I can't imagine you not being there to welcome him. We love you so much. No matter what I am proud to be your Meemaw. I love you.
