I am very sorry to hear this news. Dave has been my optometrist for many years. We always had a great time laughing and joking about the world, politics, and women. I am so sorry I just learned about this or I would have been at the service yesterday. My prayers are especially with his children- he used to show me updated pictures every time I came in- he loved them so much! So sad :(

I remember David being so lively and happy as a little boy.I remember how Aunt Barbara would steer him in the right direction, and how much I always thought he looked like my Uncle J.T. To Anne,Jay,Julie and families and to David's two precious children~~~~I hope and pray we can see each other more often. You are ALL in my heart, and if I can ever do anything for you, please let me know. I will be at the service tomorrow in spirit, and will try hard to get to the burial. I loved David, and I love you ALL.

My deepest sympathies to you all. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
I have so many good memories of Dave. He really had such a big heart and loved Jaxie and Nella more than life itself. He helped so many people and though he had struggles he brought joy and happiness to this world, including two beautiful daughters that loved him very much. His eye practice, which he was very good at and helped many people with serious issues, wasn't just about your eyes he was always smiling and laughing and every time I was there for an appointment, visiting or with Nella. Patients were always smiling and laughing with Dave. You are loved Dave and you will be missed by all that loved you.
