Not sure what to say?

Dear Pat,

There are no words to express the sorrow I felt when I heard about Dave's passing. I remember him as a kind and very personable fella. He was able to talk to anyone in such a comfortable manner. I am thinking of you and Danny. I pray God's blessings for you both

Pat, Stuart and I were so sorry to hear about Dave's passing. He was such a kind and warm person who made you feel immediately at ease. I have very fond memories of staying with you and Dave with Hilary and then again with Stuart. You and Dave made us feel so welcome - really appreciated the Scottish flag flying out front! Great memories. Huge loss. Sending you big hugs. Wendy x

Dear Pat, we were so sad to hear about Dave's passing. I have so many nice childhood memories of times my family spent with yours - Thanksgivings, Christmas Eves, and more - as well as fun memories of teaching at Killington with Dave. Now, years later, my own kids remember Dave as the nice man with the fun stories and a really friendly dog. Sending you lots of love at this tough time.

May he meet the arms of God in an Embrace of love

I enjoyed Dave's company on my visits to your home and the office Christmas parties. He seemed like such a gentle, kind man with many interests in cars especially, but I remember some special doors at your house with piano hinges. And he loved his dogs. That tells a lot. Wishing Pat and Dan moments of joy in remembering Dave at this time.

I was an au pair with Dave and Pat in 1986/87. I took care of Dan, but more than that I felt like I was one of the family. Dave picked me up from Boston & we talked all the way to Vermont! I have fond memories of Dave teaching me how to shoot baskets at the Rec Centre and sneaking a beer together whilst watching the Red Sox or The Celtics on the tiny tv in the kitchen! I returned for holidays with friends & family and was always warmly welcomed. Dave & shared our passion for skiing & I am...

I have a lot of great memories of Dave. I met Dave soon after he and Pat were married. Pat and I flew together out of Boston and I would drive up to Vermont to stay with them and they would come down to Boston. Years later I lived with them briefly after my Father died. Dave and I would go sit at the bar at Bentley's and wait for Pat to come home from work. Every person who walked in the door knew Dave and would come over and say hello. That included all of Dan's friends. Dave was well...

Aunty Patty! I am so sorry for your loss. My Uncle Dave was one of those larger than life, but funny down to earth, people we couldnt help but love. Like cousin Sarah, I remember that summer the Cooks stayed with us, and how much fun it was when Dave visited. And then when I got older, and Bettye let me visit in VT because Uncle Dave had his chaperone (you!), what fun we all had! Summer times hanging out, winter times skiing - with just me or with my friends Tom and Sean in tow. All the...

Pat, my thoughts are with you and your family. I am very sorry for your loss.
