David's Obituary

Gretna……….David Wilson “Noody” Daniel, Jr., age 45 of Gretna died Sunday, January 3, 2021.  

Born July 4, 1975 in Danville, he was the son of David Wilson Daniel, Sr. of Chatham, and Kathy L. Adkins Daniel of Gretna.  He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Russell Coleman Adkins.  David enjoyed tree work, socializing, and fishing.   

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Timothy Daniel Swan of Climax; one daughter, Raven Daniel of Gretna; two sisters, Wendy Manning and husband, Ricky of Glade Hill, and Ashley Haley and husband, Sandy of Chatham; one half-sister, Jessica Daniel of Callands; one grandson; maternal grandmother, Madie Cook of Gretna; paternal grandmother, Gladys Daniel of Chatham; step-father, Eddie Brumfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.    

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at the Daniel Family Cemetery by Rev. Lynn Marstin.

The family will receive friends at the residence of his mother, Kathy L. Adkins Daniel.
