David E. Tripp, Sr. Obituary
Mr. David Errol Tripp, Sr., age 80 a resident of 12304 NC 33 Hwy. E. Chocowinity, NC died Monday October 31, 2016.
A graveside funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday November 3, 2016 at Oakdale Cemetery officiated by Pastor Ray Webb. Pallbearers will be Jay Tripp, Dylan Tripp, Lane Perry, Mike Jones, Charles Smith and Bobby Wallace.
The family will receive friends 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home.
Mr. Tripp was born in Beaufort County on October 16, 1936 son of the late Errol Montague Tripp and the late Minnie Elizabeth Rowe. He was a 1954 graduate of Aurora High School. On April 30, 1967 he married the former Juanita Perry who survives. Mr. Tripp was a Loving husband, dedicated father and special friend to his grandson.
Surviving along with his wife Juanita of the home is a son: David E. Tripp, Jr. of Chocowinity; a grandson: Kaleb E. Tripp of Chocowinity; two brothers: Jesse A. Tripp (Juanita) of Blounts Creek and Curtis Rabon Tripp (Brenda) of Chocowinity and a sister: Sina T. Corbett (Joe) of Pikeville.
In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks for memorial contributions to be made to Chocowinity EMS, P.O. Box 574, Chocowinity, NC 27817 or Blounts Creek Volunteer Fire Dept., P.O. Box 5, Blounts Creek, NC 27814.
