I will miss you my cousin, i love you, I will always remember you as the loving, good hearted individual that you were. You always accepted me and loved me regardless of my flaws. I hope and pray that you knew that I loved you too..So sad that we always think we have time to reconnect and spend time together once again, when in reality we dont. Our condolences to the family during this difficult time. I have fond memories when David, Darlene, and Anthony were young and my sister, Pat and I would babysit when they were younger. May David rest on Peace.

I have fond memories of David and will always remember him as being one of the nicest and friendliest guys. He would always greet me with a friendly hug, as if i were part of the family, when I’d see him at my friend Darlene’s house. May God surround the family and comfort them through this difficult time. You will all be in my prayers.

On Friday, January 8, 2021, David Robert Estrada, Jr., our beloved brother, father, uncle and friend, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 51.He was born on April 25, 1969 in San Antonio Texas. He attended Woodlawn Elementary, Horace Mann Middle School and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School, which he was a member of ROTC, Swim Team and Hayne Club.David was a loving father, great brother and a true friend. He was kind-hearted, selfless and caring – always willing to lend a helping hand, listen and give a shoulder to cry on. For over 20 years David worked at various party rental businesses such as ACE Casino and PPP Rentals. He loved running the attractions such as poker and roulette tables, the mechanical bull and bounce houses. David’s favorite hobbies were making jewelry, rosaries and woodworking as well as hunting and fishing. He also loved gaming, especially playing Dungeons and Dragons with his family.He is preceded in death by his parents David B. Estrada and Leonor H. Estrada; grandparents Manuel T. and Elvira M. Hernandez, and Pedro L. and Juanita B. Estrada.  David is survived by his wife Esther Rosario Estrada and their 2 daughters Alma, 24 and Angelina, 13; siblings Darlene (Larry) Stoops, and Anthony (Cindy) Estrada; step-mother Toni Estrada, step-sister Tammy (Paul) Bendell; nieces and nephew Lauren and Alyssa Estrada, Devin and Caitlin Stoops. He also has a large extended family as well. His memory will live on through the love we have for him and the selfless acts of kindness shown throughout his life. “Heaven gained the friendliest angel!”

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 6:45 PM with a private Rosary at 7:00 P.M. in the Hillcrest Chapel.
