David “Sharky” Trigg Sr.,73, of Bluefield, VA passed away Monday, January 25, 2021. He was retired from Flowers Bakery after 44 years of service. Sharkey was a devoted family man that will be dearly missed by his wife Viesta; children David Jr. and wife Celeste, Judith, and husband Cheston, and Jacenta and husband Denise; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; brother Anglis Trigg Jr. and wife Linda; sister-in-law Sherly; in addition to a host of family members and friends. A funeral service to celebrate David’s life will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Reverend Michael Bratton officiating. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Bluefield. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the service hour on Saturday. Please follow all COVID-19 guidelines set forth by the Governor’s office and local health department by social distancing and wearing masks for your safety and the safety of others. I've known Sharky and Vi on Vencil and Wilson St since I was 3 yrs old. He is my cousin because of the Long and Froe families. Sharky was extremely nice to me when I was a little girl playing with his sister Angie. We all love Sharky! I'm Praying the Holy Spirit will comfort and Bless each of you during this difficult time! Rest in peace brother, I enjoy working with him over the years passed. He was a good friend, enjoyed meeting him at Graham football games and watching little David play football.
