Deacon Cluese Lyons Jr. Obituary
Deacon Cluese Lyons Jr. entered into rest on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 01, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at First Mount Moriah Baptist Church. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Mrs. Mary Ruffin Lyons; sons, Vernon Lee Lyons, Kayle Lee (Kim) Jones, and Dedrick (Nicole) Gantt; daughters, Carolyn (Otis) Jones, and Teresa Drake; one brother, Deacon James Lyons; one sister, Wilhemina Hill; brother-in-law, Jule Maryland, sister-in-law, Josephine Ruffin; grandchildren, Bernard “BJ” Simmons, Nicholas (Tina) Dixon, Jenease Horstead, Keltavious Jones, Nina Drake, Alexis Drake, Tryston Jones, Kayla Jones, Jalen Gantt, and Angel Gantt; great grandchildren, Mycah Horstead, Amiyah Jones, and Tre Jones; great aunt, Ola Murray; godchildren, Tangy Howard and Jualise Simmons; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Deacon Lyons may be viewed on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the church.
