1951 - 2026

On the fairway to heaven, where shadows fall, I long for your presence, your laughter's call, I miss the days we'd walk the green, Side by side, where dreams convene. In gentle silence, your love remains, Through joy and sorrow, life's sweet refrains, A golfer's spirit, a love so true, Fairway to heaven, I miss you. In the early morning of March 26, 2026, God in his infinite wisdom called his son Deacon Richard L. Johnson., 75, of Hardeeville SC  from labor to rest.  

He is preceded in death by mother; Mrs. Bessie Mae Stidhum. His siblings; Ricky Bush, Calvin Huggins, Pressana Grant and Herschel Huggins.

He leaves a lifetime of memories to his wife; Audrey Johnson, his children; Richard D Johnson(Letizia), Teresa Staten(Willie), Elnora Bonaparte, and Angela Bonaparte. His siblings; Margaret Scott, Wille Ann Huggins, Josephine Huggins, Belinda Scott, William Stidham Jr.(Annie) and a host of other family and friends.
