Shocked and saddened to read of Dean's passing. We were there at his Buffalo wedding so many years ago, but have long since lost touch. I am Gil's wife -- Gil, Janson and Jean (who died suddenly this past April 7) were his mom Louise's sister's children, Dean's first cousins. Heartfelt sympathies for family and friends.

Dean,
I had no idea how lucky I was when you allowed me to move on to "your" street here in Blairsville. We've had so many similar interests and same-only-different experiences, I still think we didn't discover them all. You have been a great friend, and possibly my best-ever neighbor.
I will miss you, brother. I believe we were kindred spirits. And I treasure the years we had together.
May GOD Bless you,
And Keep you.
May HIS Contanance Shine on you,
And give you HIS Peace.
You have left me big shoes to fill. I hope to do you proud.

Dear Rhonda, sons of Dean,
Dean will be missed by several of us who got to know him during the last few years via the world of politics. He was always the voice of reason and was so extremely intelligent. I loved talking with him fairly often. He was a true friend.
My prayers are with you all.
